Inspired by one of the most iconic putters in golf history, the Rush Kane Legacy Series Blankout is our tribute to a design that has shaped generations of golfers. Revered for its timeless proportions and quiet confidence, the Newport 2 silhouette remains one of the most enduring forms the game has ever known.

Built primarily around the rare Titleist Oval Track Newport 2, Art of Putting, each commission is carefully rebuilt by hand with a philosophy of restraint. The original profile, dimensions, radii, edge breaks, and surface geometry are respectfully preserved, honoring the proportions that made this design one of the most iconic putters in golf history. Every refinement exists to elevate the original, not redefine it. Nothing is added without purpose. Nothing remains without intention.

Authentic Oval Track Newport 2 heads remain the preferred foundation for every Legacy Series Blankout. As these heads become increasingly difficult to source, select carbon steel Classic Newport-style models may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Pro Platinum models and putters with synthetic coatings are not eligible, as this commission is reserved for original metal finishes, including Oil Can and Black Oxide. If you’re unsure whether your putter qualifies, submit your application with photographs below. If you haven’t found the right putter yet, we’ll help guide you toward the best candidate.
