Terms and Conditions for Putter Orders
Last Updated: 2026
By submitting a putter application, approving a build quote, paying an invoice, submitting a deposit, shipping a putter head to RUSH KANE, or otherwise engaging RUSH KANE for services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
For administrative, billing, and operational purposes, RUSH KANE and KANE INDUSTRIES LLC are one and the same business entity. Customers may receive communications, invoices, shipping notifications, payment requests, agreements, or correspondence from either RUSH KANE or KANE INDUSTRIES LLC.
Build Allocations & Payment
RUSH KANE operates on a limited build allocation system.
Approved builds are offered a position within the build queue and remain active for three (3) calendar days from the date issued.
If a build is not accepted and paid within that timeframe, the allocation may be released and the customer may be moved to the waitlist.
Released allocations may occasionally be reopened at RUSH KANE’s discretion, but reopening is never guaranteed.
To reserve a build allocation, a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 may be required.
All deposits, payments, balances, and build allocations are final and non-refundable.
Build allocations are reserved specifically for the approved customer and may not be transferred without written approval from RUSH KANE.
By submitting payment, the customer acknowledges that shop time, scheduling, planning, materials, labor allocation, and build capacity have been reserved specifically for their build.
Build Quotes
Build quotes are based solely on the putter head condition, specifications, and information provided during the application process.
Quotes are valid only during the active three (3) day allocation period.
If the putter head arrives in a condition different from what was represented during quoting, RUSH KANE reserves the right to:
• Revise the quote
• Require additional paid work
• Require a replacement putter head
• Decline the build entirely
If additional work is required after inspection, payment must be received before work proceeds.
Bundled pricing is contingent upon the original scope quoted. Removal of services may result in repricing of the remaining work.
All quotes remain preliminary until reviewed and approved by RUSH KANE.
Putter Condition & Compatibility
RUSH KANE specializes in performance modifications, fully fitted neck conversions, and player-specific builds.
We do not offer restoration services.
Putter heads submitted for work should generally be in 8/10 condition or better.
Compatibility is determined solely by RUSH KANE.
Not every putter head is suitable for every modification.
Undisclosed damage, excessive wear, prior welding, prior milling, hidden repairs, refinishing, structural defects, aftermarket modifications, or misrepresented condition may impact compatibility, pricing, timelines, or final results.
If a submitted putter head arrives in substantially worse condition than represented during quoting, RUSH KANE may require a replacement putter head before work proceeds.
Scope of Work
Each build will be completed according to the approved quote and agreed-upon scope of work.
Customer-requested changes after approval may require:
• Additional charges
• Revised lead times
• A revised quote
• A new build allocation
Any additional work discovered during the build process must be approved and paid for before work proceeds.
Artist Direction
When Artist Direction is selected, the customer grants RUSH KANE reasonable creative discretion regarding shaping, finishes, stamping placement, paint execution, visual interpretation, and final presentation.
Artist Direction builds require trust in the builder’s judgment.
Substantial design changes requested after approval may be treated as a new build and requoted accordingly.
Lead Times
Lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Completion schedules may vary based on build complexity, shop workload, material availability, technical challenges, supplier delays, or additional work discovered during the build process.
RUSH KANE prioritizes craftsmanship, fit, and quality over production speed.
Returns, Refunds & Chargebacks
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Due to the custom nature of the work performed, RUSH KANE does not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, cancellations, or credits for completed work.
Deposits, payments, balances, shipping fees, labor, build allocations, consultation time, planning, and materials are non-refundable.
By submitting payment, the customer acknowledges that work is custom in nature and that build capacity has been specifically allocated to their build.
Customers agree not to initiate chargebacks for custom work that has been approved, scheduled, performed, completed, or shipped.
Any chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal that is determined to be improper may result in collection efforts, recovery of associated costs, legal remedies, and removal from future eligibility for services.
Shipping & Liability
Customers are responsible for accurately representing the condition and value of their putter head.
For domestic shipments where a RUSH KANE shipping label is provided, shipments include insurance and signature confirmation.
Customers shipping on their own are responsible for securing adequate insurance coverage and providing tracking information.
While RUSH KANE takes every reasonable precaution to protect customer property, shipping carriers and customs agencies operate independently and are outside of our control.
RUSH KANE is not responsible for:
• Carrier delays
• Customs delays or fees
• Weather-related disruptions
• Third-party shipping service failures
In the event of loss or damage during transit, any claim shall be handled through the applicable shipping carrier and insurance provider. Please reach out at contact@rushkane.com.
Customer Conduct
Professional and respectful communication is expected throughout the build process.
RUSH KANE reserves the right to decline service, cancel a build, suspend communications, or return a putter head without work performed if customer communications become abusive, threatening, harassing, excessive, disruptive, or otherwise interfere with normal business operations.
Any shipping costs associated with returning a putter head remain the responsibility of the customer.
Final Inspection & Approval
Build photographs may be provided before shipment.
Customers are responsible for reviewing any final approval materials provided prior to shipment.
Minor cosmetic variations, hand-finishing characteristics, natural material variation, welding characteristics, and finishing differences are normal components of custom hand-built work and do not constitute defects.
Documentation & Build Verification
All builds are documented throughout the process.
Customers provide photographs during the application and quoting stage. Upon arrival, putter heads are photographed and inspected to verify condition, specifications, and compatibility.
Additional photographs may be taken during the build process and final build photographs may be provided prior to shipment.
These records may be used to verify:
• Putter condition upon arrival
• Existing wear, dents, modifications, or damage
• Approved scope of work
• Completed modifications
• Final build specifications
• Shipping and insurance claims
By submitting a putter for work, the customer acknowledges that RUSH KANE may maintain photographic and written records of the build for quality control, verification, customer service, and dispute resolution purposes.
Acceptance of Terms
Submission of an application, approval of a quote, payment of an invoice, payment of a deposit, or shipment of a putter head to RUSH KANE constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, do not submit a build application, payment, or putter head.
