PUTTER COMPATIBILITY

Putters We Do Not Work On

 

Due to the nature of our welded structural modifications, all putters must be milled carbon or stainless steel. Metal finishes and platings are accepted but may require additional stripping/removal.

 

 

❌ Non-Workable Finishes & Coatings

 

We do not accept putters with:

 

• PVD coatings

• DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coatings

• Cerakote

• Black PVD / Ion plating

• Any synthetic or polymer-based coatings

• Multi-layer or factory “black” coatings that are non-metallic

These coatings are non-metallic and non-weldable. Full removal is required to attempt structural work, and even then, results are inconsistent and not something we stand behind.

 

 

❌ Non-Workable Constructions

 

• Putters with cast heads not suitable for welding

• Putters with permanent or non-metal face inserts

• Putters requiring refurbishment or restoration work

  (We specialize in tour builds and fitted performance modifications - not refurbishing.)

• We do not make exceptions for “at your own risk” requests.

• Deposits are non-refundable whether workability has been confirmed or denied.

• If you are unsure about your putter’s finish or material, send photos before placing an order.
